Don Quixote stands by me

DON QUIXOTE AND SANCHO PANZA

Written by: Jesús Silva R.

Just because I told you,
That I was crazy for you;
You got badly upset,
As the rude little girl,
Kicking her pet.

I forgot you had been,
Dulcinea and Ego Queen;
The Cold Hearted Snake,
The nobody's friend,
Who hates wedding rings.

I did smiling and flirting,
Your heart I was wishing,
But in your dry oasis,
Only morons are fishing.

Miracles won't happen,
Not between you and me,
The whole dream is over,
I died like a bee.

In our high-tech break up story,
I was unhappily amazed;
In twitter, facebook, social media,
I was hated and erased.

Not even your rebound material,
You let me become;
My fine art you have slandered,
And the illusion is gone.

In the last lines of my poem,
Loving you was impossible;
'Cuz your prejudice ignored,
Don Quixote through me is possible.

I'm still the greatest love option,
You don't wanna see,
I'm The Man of La Mancha,
In this century.
It's Miguel De Cervantes,
Begging on his knees.
