The Sinners' Song

Written by:
Jesús Silva R.

"Sin" is the name, unfree people give to freedom itself.
Leave your clothes upon the shelf,
And make sins happen.

This is the instant no picture will keep,
The kingdom of lust,
Rolling in the deep.

No Adele,
Nor pre-teen ladies allowed,
Tonight I'm mercyless man,
We'll be each other's rebound.

Both been hurt by the past,
We rehearse our revenge.
Bonds of love don't last,
Human heart is so strange.

I've been asked to do things,
In the normal way.
But life is abnormal,
I'd rather go my way.

Doing and undoing,
I perform both in one act.
Contradiction grew me,
We made a "life pact".

Take me to land of sin,
May I be embraced by your woman's body.
Silence my phone if it rings,
I just wanna hear nobody.

Let us claim no property,
We've become circumstances.
Let us forget destiny,
Let me enjoy your street fragances.

And once again I say:
"Sin" is the name, unfree people give to freedom itself.
Leave your clothes upon the shelf,
And make sins happen.

Your great award shall be,
To become my redemption.
'Cause in loving you I'll find,
My desired liberation.

Having you in my arms,
Has helped me to be,
The strong kind of man,
Society needs.

Make this present of ours,
A true lesson of life.
'Cause Love has no eternal hour,
And it cuts like a knife.

Living ready for "good-bye",
Has become my way of living.
I prefer to tell the truth,
Instead of deceiving.

And once again I say:
"Sin" is the name, unfree people give to freedom itself.
Leave your clothes upon the shelf,
And make sins happen.

'Cause aldults can't love,
Like children do.
And "happily ever after"
Is just a dream, of Hollywood.
